How can businesses and organisations radically transform their communication strategies by effectively breaking conventional structures?

The world of communication is currently experiencing profound changes, driven by the multiplication of languages and the growing saturation of messages and information. In this context, there is an increasing need for professionals who can innovate, renew, and break established patterns through a disruptive and skilled approach. This is essential for organisations and companies aiming to craft brand storytelling that communicates with their audience in a distinctive and effective way.

Our Master’s in Communication: Unconventional Strategies challenges the current communication landscape by offering an alternative perspective on the use of languages, digital platforms, and communication tools. Rome, with its vibrant network of agencies, institutions, and public and private organisations, offers an ideal setting for the programme. The course focuses on entities engaged in social and sustainable change, providing numerous professional opportunities.

Throughout the programme, students gain in-depth knowledge of the history of communication and unconventional creativity, as well as insight into the operational contexts where they will work. This is enhanced by contributions from leading professionals in institutions, businesses, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and the arts and experimental sectors.

The course includes workshops dedicated to developing writing skills and technical proficiency in using major social media platforms, graphic design tools, and video production software. There is also a strong focus on AI tools and their mindful integration into design and production processes.

These skills are applied in developing integrated communication plans, marketing strategies, creative campaigns, and fundraising or electoral initiatives, often in collaboration with institutions, companies, and NGOs.

Graduates of the Master’s programme will meet the growing demand for consultancy and innovation in the field of communication. They will be prepared for roles such as Creative Directors and Campaigners in all areas of strategic and institutional communication, as well as Consultants for digital innovation and communication within companies, institutions, political parties, and NGOs. They can work alongside existing teams or operate independently.
