In this 4-year degree in Fashion Design, pathway in Fashion Styling and Communication you’ll learn how to interpret every facet of fashion according to society's demands. The hallmarks of this program are respect for your own distinct personality and style, with individual progress monitoring to encourage your evolution as an artist.

You’ll acquire a solid theoretical grounding and hands-on experience in a multicultural environment, ideal for developing an innovative, personal style that stands out from the crowd on the international market in an increasingly complex sector.

Taking the first steps in your future career, learning from lecturers who are working professional designers, stylists, photographers and journalists, gives you the perspective you need to find answers and propose solutions for new market demands and the trends of the future. What’s more, an IED BA in Fashion gives you the opportunity to use spectacular workshops where you can experiment with different tools and processes. You can also produce digital or 3D prints in the Hybrid Lab, and organise photo shoots at the Medialab.

There are 60 places available for first-year students majoring in Fashion Design. Of these places, there is no specific number assigned by pathway or language.

The Bachelor of Arts in Design is valid throughout the European Higher Education Area, equivalent to an official university degree, and is accredited by the Agency for the Quality of the University System. This programme grants access to official university master’s degrees and, where applicable, to doctoral studies.

In this Bachelor of Arts you’ll be encouraged to create your own personal, innovative style to stand out from the crowd on the international market, developing your creative talent to provide solutions for an increasingly complex market.

The program is divided into modules of complementary subjects, so you can concentrate on one project at a time. This helps you improve your concept development and implementation skills more effectively.

It’s a hands-on program, so as well as acquiring specific know-how you’ll gain experience developing experimental projects under the guidance of your lecturers, professional designers working in the fashion industry.

This approach lets you anticipate trends and propose solutions to meet future aesthetic requirements and the new demands of the fashion market, combining traditional techniques and innovative tools, craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology.

This program is for people who want to turn their vocation for fashion, aesthetics and creativity into a profession. You’ll learn to analyse and interpret trends, styles and dress codes. The program is project-based, so you’ll gain experience learning to express your creative talent in the form of project proposals.

The BA in Fashion Design, pathway in Fashion Styling and Communication is for aspiring professional fashion designers who want to refine their creative skills to make their mark in an increasingly complex sector. The program gives you the theoretical and cultural grounding you need as a professional fashion designer to anticipate new trends in the fashion sector.

In the third year, you’ll specialise in the Fashion Styling and Communication pathway.
