METASTRIDE is the winning project of the Your Dream Sneakers Challenge by Servati, designed by Sara Zuccarello, a student of the Jewellery and Accessories Design course at IED Torino in the academic year 2024–2025. Originality and boldness come together in a proposal that interprets the Servati style through a contemporary and experimental vision.

The Your Dream Sneakers Challenge is a contest promoted by Servati that offers young designers the opportunity to submit their sketches and showcase their creative talent. For last year’s edition, Sara Zuccarello’s idea was selected from over 400 projects and awarded by both the jury and the Servati community for its originality and aesthetic quality.

The project starts from a key question: can a building become a shoe? From this reflection METASTRIDE takes shape, inspired by the “cyber-urban” metaverse city designed by Zaha Hadid. The work analyses architectures, forms and perspectives to translate them into footwear that does not simply dress the body, but expresses a futuristic design vision.

The sneaker, unisex and entirely black, features a sculpted and dynamic sole and is produced through 3D printing with 100% recyclable materials. METASTRIDE was developed in a limited edition and presented by Servati at Milan Fashion Week, marking the transition from concept to production.
