On 9 September, IED Madrid's traditional Fashion Show will take place as part of the Madrid es Moda programme, featuring the collections of 12 students from the School of Fashion.

IED Madrid will take part in the new edition of OModa Madrid es Moda on 9 September at 6:30 p.m. with its highly anticipated Fashion Show, a project that seeks to highlight the value of and create new opportunities for the talent emerging from the school.

The runway show will feature the collections created as part of the final projects of 12 students from the Bachelor's Degree in Higher Artistic Education in Fashion Design.

The 12 projects were selected on 26 June during the second edition of the Avant-Défilé, held at the IED Madrid Gran Vía campus, where the 28 participating students presented a small capsule from their collections. The finalist were selected by a professional jury made up of Pepa Bueno, Director of Madrid es Moda and Executive Director of ACME (Association of Spanish Fashion Creators); Sergio Álvarez, Director of the Spanish Fashion Academy Foundation; Leticia García, Fashion Editor-in-Chief at SModa (El País); designers Xavi García and Franx de Cristal, known as ACROMATYX; David Alarcón, Content Editor at METAL Magazine and Deputy Director of ACERO Magazine; and Federico Antelo, designer and Director of the School of Fashion at IED Madrid.

These same professionals will be responsible for deciding which of the 12 students will receive the IED Fashion Talent Award 2026.

On this occasion, the projects presented at the Fashion Show have been developed around the same theme as all the final degree projects: "Times New Hybridisation."

Through personal and contemporary proposals, the theme showcases the outcome of creative processes born in intermediate spaces - between cradsmanship and technology between tradition and innovation, and ultimately, between different ways of thinking, making and designing. It is an invitation to move beyond the conventional boundaries of the discipline and explore new forms of expression.

*Please note: an invitation is required to attend the event.
