On 13 July, IED Madrid celebrated its Graduation Day 2026, a day dedicated to recognising the hard work, creativity and commitment of the students completing their studies at the school this year.

Graduation Day 2026 brought together students from Master's, Bachelor's, Diploma, Vocational Training and Total Design programmes across the areas of Fashion, Design and Visual Arts. Marking the conclusion of the 2025–2026 academic year, the celebration welcomed familes, faculty members and professionals from IED community, who joined students for a day filled with emotion and shared pride.

Meanwhile, the Design area incluided graduates from the Master's programmes in Interior Design and Hospitality, Creative Direction for Retail Spaces, Product Design, and Textile Design and New Materials.

In Visual Arts, students from the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design graduated, while the Design area celebrated graduates from Interior Design, Product Design, and the Total Design programme.

Both ceremonies were hosted by Rosa Moreno, faculty member at IED Madrid, and Javier Sánchez, Academic Coordinator, who returned after successfully hosting last year's event.

Throughout the day, attendees heard speeches from Eduardo Castañé, Director of IED Madrid; Beatriz Amman, Academic Director of IED Madrid; and Tíscar Espadas, fashion designer, alumni of the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design and faculty member at IED Madrid, who served as the patron of the Class of 2025–2026.

The ceremonies also featured videos reflecting on students' experiences at IED Madrid, messages from faculty and mentors, and speeches delivered on behalf of gratuating class by two students, During the Master's ceremony, Gricellis Duval, from the Master's in Textile Design and New Materials, addressed the audience, while Luna Canadell, a student from the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and Visual Arts, spoke during the Bachelor's ceremony.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards. More than an academic ceremony, Graduation Day 2026 marked the culmination of an important chapter for a generation of students who are now ready to shape the future of design.

Congratulations to everyone!
