A course aimed at developing skills in the use of AutoCAD® 2D and 3D, Rhinoceros®, and 3D Studio Max® (basic level).

All topics covered, along with the related exercises, are aimed at acquiring the fundamental methodology for the creation, management, and printing of two-dimensional and three-dimensional design files.

Would you like to refine your technical skills in two- and three-dimensional design and learn 3D modelling and animation? Through this training programme, you will acquire all the technical competencies currently required in the design sector. The lessons combine theoretical and demonstrative sessions with practical exercises. Each software is explored in depth through a progressive learning path, from familiarisation with the user interface to the development of the skills needed to enhance productivity and the informational quality of drawings.

Information to decide

Uses software to address a range of different requirements.

The aim of the course is to develop professionals who are autonomous in the use of the three software programmes.

With AutoCAD® 2D, you will master the two-dimensional development of a project for proportional and compositional verification, as well as for the production of technical drawings in UNI format.

With AutoCAD® 3D, you will be able to operate in both architectural and mechanical contexts, producing three-dimensional models to support the design of volumes and spaces. With Rhinoceros® 6, you will further develop, among other aspects, 3D image processing and surface modelling.

Finally, by learning to use 3D Studio Max®, you will be able to create 3D models, photorealistic still images, and animations of cinematic quality.

The course is intended for anyone wishing to enhance their competitiveness in the job market by developing technical skills in two-dimensional design, 3D modelling, and rendering.

The course Software for Design offers a comprehensive pathway to shaping a well-rounded professional profile, ready to enter the job market.

Guided by professionals with extensive experience in the sector, you will learn to make effective use of the full potential offered by the software.

By the end of the course, through the study of AutoCAD® 2D and 3D, you will be able to present a complete two-dimensional project, including text and dimensions, and to create blocks. You will also acquire an understanding of the principles and differences between solid and surface modelling, applying these skills to the drawing of primitive solids, the use of variables, and the export of three-dimensional models.

With Rhinoceros® 6, you will explore the assembly of forms through elementary units, the automatic generation of perspectives, the creation of elevations and sections, surface texturing, and rendering.

Finally, 3D Studio Max® will provide you with the foundations for communicating projects through the creation of 3D models, animations, and digital images.

Syllabus

During the course, you will study each software programme and have the opportunity to apply what you have learned in practice. Each module is dedicated to a specific programme, in the following order: AutoCAD® 2D and 3D, Rhinoceros® 6, and 3D Studio Max®.
